electro acoustic concert in suidoubashi.

After some time spent focusing on procedural sound in interactive applications, this was my first concert since university. With a contact microphone connecting the viola to the computer, I was able to produce a wide variety of sounds.

The bulk of the eponymous composition "addiction" was done in Pure Data, where I coded a specific sequence of settings. Within each section, I improvised within certain parameters (pitch ranges, duration). I used notes about these parameters (pictured above) as a score in the performance
